Today’s Artist of the Day features an interview with Jonathan Limon. Please find our conversation below.
Thanks for joining us and we’re so excited to have our readers learn more about you and your creative works. Kick things off for us, what should they know?
As an artist, I primarily focus on photography and music. Through my photography, I choose to capture moments in life that are memorable and tell a story for a lifetime. It’s unique because it’s through my perspective and how I see things. My mission is to help others capture the message they want to portray. Whether you’re a small business owner or simply celebrating life, I want to help bring your visuals to life. In doing so, I am working on my video skills and making them available later in the year.
My music tells stories and captures the struggles I’ve endured through my journey. An on and off journey these last several years due to life circumstances, I plan to develop my art through music through the later half of the year. As someone who didn’t have a lot of guidance on the right path growing up, I introduce you to stories I’ve struggled through and others who have influenced me through their pain. Something you want to keep an eye out for sure.
Has your art / artistic practice changed you? How?
Yes, my artistic practice has influenced my lifestyle. Down to the way I present myself, I see it as an art form. It’s changed me on the angle I like to approach things. I don’t mind standing out. Although at times, it can be daunting, there’s nothing wrong with being different. I aim to break traditional rules and set a new direction for others like myself.
