Today’s Artist of the Day features an interview with Dineta Williams-Trigg. Please find our conversation below.
We’re always amazed and inspired by the creatives in the community and we’re so excited to have a chance to ask you some fun questions today. To start, can you bring our readers up to speed on you and your work?
My objective is to provide opportunities to filmmakers who have not been able to screen their films in front of an audience and get possible distribution. As a filmmaker myself, I understand the importance of having as “many eyes” on your work as possible. I, along with my partners, have several film festivals around the globe.
Who (or what) has your work been inspired by? Do you hope your work inspires others? If so, what message do you want them to be inspired by?
Don’t be afraid to tell your stories. Sometimes, when you are telling your story, you have to become vulnerable, which can be uncomfortable. But just remember how far you have come.
Alright, before we go, let’s do a quick lightning round.
