Meet Candie Castillo of Phoenix / Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Candie Castillo.

Hi Candie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into holistic wellness wasn’t something I had completely mapped out—it unfolded as I did.

I’ve always been a creative person, deeply intuitive and curious about energy, frequency, and the connection between our physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. Over the years, I became increasingly drawn to alternative healing modalities and began exploring how sound, vibration, Reiki, essential oils, meditation, and energy work could affect the way we feel and experience our lives.

Eventually, that curiosity became something much bigger.

I created Quantum Health Organics in Fountain Hills as a space where people could step away from the noise and demands of everyday life and simply reconnect with themselves. I wanted it to feel different from a traditional wellness environment, warm, welcoming, a little magical, and most importantly, a place where people could come exactly as they are.

What began as a vision has grown organically over the years. Today, my work includes Reiki, sound frequency healing, Biofield Tuning, frequency facials, meditation, breathwork, private sessions, group experiences, and special events such as our Sacred Sky sound meditation floats beneath the Arizona night sky.

But I think the biggest evolution has actually happened within me.

Building a business centered around healing has required me to grow alongside it. I’ve had beautiful successes, but I’ve also experienced uncertainty, setbacks, financial challenges, personal changes, and plenty of moments when I had to trust myself without knowing exactly what the next chapter would look like.

Those experiences have changed the way I think about healing. I don’t believe healing means becoming some perfect version of ourselves. I think it is about remembering who we are underneath all the expectations, stress, fear, and stories we accumulate throughout our lives.

One of the greatest gifts of this journey has been watching people walk through my doors carrying the weight of their lives and then seeing something soften in them. Sometimes it is subtle a deeper breath, tears, a smile, or simply saying, “I needed this.” Those moments continually remind me why I started.

Today, I’m still creating, still learning, and still allowing Quantum Health Organics to evolve. I’m especially interested in expanding beyond the walls of the studio through retreats, education, digital offerings, products, and experiences that allow this work to reach people wherever they are.

If there is one thing this journey has taught me, it is that we don’t always have to know exactly where the path is leading before we begin walking it. Sometimes the most meaningful chapters of our lives begin with a quiet inner knowing that says, “There is something more for me.”

I listened to that voice and I’m still following it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road but I don’t think the most meaningful journeys usually are.

One of my biggest challenges has been building a business in a field that people don’t always immediately understand. When you talk about sound frequency, Reiki, energy work, or vibrational healing, some people are naturally curious while others may be skeptical. I learned early on that my job wasn’t to convince anyone. It was simply to create an experience where people could slow down, feel something for themselves, and decide what resonated with them.

Being a small business owner has brought another entire set of challenges. I wear a lot of hats. I’m the creator, practitioner, marketer, event planner, problem solver, and sometimes the person sweeping the floor at the end of the night. There have been periods of financial uncertainty, ideas that didn’t work the way I imagined, partnerships that changed direction, and plenty of moments where I wondered what I was doing.

But those moments have also taught me some of my greatest lessons.

I’ve learned that growth isn’t always about pushing harder. Sometimes it is about knowing when to pivot, when to release something, when to ask for help, and when to trust an idea that other people may not understand yet.

There have also been personal challenges happening alongside the business. Like everyone, I’ve experienced loss, change, disappointment, and seasons where I had to find my way back to myself. In many ways, those experiences gave me a deeper understanding of the people who walk through my doors. We rarely know what someone is carrying beneath the surface.

I think that is why creating a space where people can simply exhale has become so important to me.

Looking back, I wouldn’t erase the difficult chapters. They’ve made me more resourceful, more compassionate, more creative, and much less afraid of starting over. I’ve learned that sometimes what feels like an obstacle is actually a redirection.

The road hasn’t been smooth, but it has been meaningful and every version of the journey has helped shape the woman, business owner, and energy provider I am today.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I consider my work a blend of healing, creativity, intuition, and experience design.

Through Quantum Health Organics, I specialize in creating immersive wellness experiences using sound frequency, Reiki, Biofield Tuning, meditation, breathwork, essential oils, crystals, and other energetic modalities. Rather than approaching each of these as separate practices, I love weaving them together to create an experience that engages the senses and gives people an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and become present with themselves.

Sound and frequency have become a particularly important part of my work. There is something extraordinary about watching a room full of people arrive carrying completely different lives, stresses, and emotions and then witnessing the room become still as the sound begins. You don’t have to understand energy work or even believe in anything specific to experience what happens when you finally give your mind and body permission to be quiet.

I’m probably best known for creating experiences that feel a little outside the traditional wellness box.

One of my favorites has been our Sacred Sky sound meditation floats, where guests float in water beneath the Arizona night sky while experiencing guided meditation, sound frequencies, crystals, aromatherapy, and intentional ceremony. I love taking healing work beyond four walls and incorporating nature the water, desert, moon, stars, and surrounding environment into the experience.

That creativity is probably what sets me apart. I’m constantly asking, “How can we experience this differently?” I don’t want wellness to feel clinical, intimidating, or like another task someone has to accomplish. I want people to walk into an experience and immediately feel that they can exhale.

I’m also very intuitive in the way I work. I can have a structure or plan, but I pay attention to the energy of the individual or group in front of me and allow the experience to evolve from there. No two sessions are exactly alike.

What I’m most proud of, however, isn’t any particular service or event. It’s the community that has grown around this work and the trust people place in me when they allow themselves to become vulnerable, quiet, and receptive.

Some of the most meaningful moments are incredibly simple: someone opening their eyes after a session and telling me they haven’t felt that peaceful in years, someone becoming emotional because they finally allowed themselves to release something, or someone returning because the experience helped them reconnect with a part of themselves they had forgotten.

To me, that is the heart of what I do.

I create spaces and experiences that remind people to come back to themselves. Everything else the sound, frequency, oils, crystals, water, and ritual is simply part of the beautiful language I use to help them get there.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I love most about Fountain Hills is that it still feels like a hidden gem. There is something very special about being surrounded by the mountains, desert, wildlife, incredible sunsets, and, of course, the fountain itself. Even though we are close to Scottsdale and Phoenix, Fountain Hills has a quieter energy and a strong sense of community.

For the work I do, I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful backdrop. The desert has a way of reminding you to slow down and notice what is around you. Some evenings, all it takes is looking at the mountains during sunset or seeing the stars come out over the desert to remember how fortunate we are to live here.

I also love the people. Owning a small business has allowed me to meet so many wonderful residents, business owners, and visitors. There is a genuine desire here to support community and connection, and I think that is something worth protecting as Fountain Hills continues to grow.

If I had to choose something I like least, it would probably be that I would love to see even more opportunities for small businesses, creative entrepreneurs, wellness professionals, artists, and unique local concepts to thrive here. Sometimes residents still feel they need to leave town for certain experiences, dining, shopping, or entertainment, when I believe Fountain Hills has the potential to become even more of a destination itself.

I would love to see us continue growing while keeping the character that makes Fountain Hills special not becoming another Scottsdale, but becoming an even better version of Fountain Hills.

There is a magic here that is uniquely ours.
