Today we’d like to introduce you to Molly Burkett.
Hi Molly, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started reading tarot cards at friends request in 2011 and it snowballed into parties and then a gig at Catland Books in Brooklyn. Major press followed and my practice evolved in the wellness space into mastering reiki energy healing, certifications in yoga, and getting ordained in interfaith ministry. I’ve led visionary meditation sequences and unique creative jams for major brands like SoHo House and continue to work with healers and creatives seeking divine assistance.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The Wounded Healer is an archetype that applies here. As I heal myself, I share lessons learned and offer spiritual mentoring. Through great grief and spiritual initiations I receive upgrades and downloads that I pass to my students. It is not an easy path but I feel blessed and chosen.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I consider myself a healing artist and a creative, I am a Jane of all trades model dancer writer singer and my work in scholarly writing on film and dance has won me awards for NYU Tisch Yellowbrick and Omega Institute. Being a bridge between the healing arts and the creative world is critical to what I share.
How do you define success?
There is worldly success through financial abundance and notoriety and then there is a greater sense of fulfillment through spiritual progress and a strong divine connection. Cultivating a benevolent force and communicating with God is greater than any worldly treasure.
