Check Out Brittany Trull’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Trull.

Brittany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have been in the social media space since around 2014 – I started on YouTube and just created content for fun with friends who also were in the space with me. This time in my life taught me to post what I wanted without the fear of being judged which really opened up the door for me and content creation. As social media has evolved so has my content and where I post it. I still make content for YouTube but have also transitioned to things such as lives, Tiktok’s, and content on Instagram. My content currently is focused on lifestyle, thrifting, and my GLP1 journey.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggle is 1. facing the backlash – social media is much more common now and it is so fun to see others post their life and passion. However, that wasnt always the case and in my earlier years online I was met with a lot of push back from peers in my personal life. Outside of that, evolving with the algorithm but also within my own passions.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am most proud of sharing my GLP1 and weight loss story – I started sharing this journey about 3.5 years ago and I am most proud of this content as I know how much it has helped people who struggle as well. It has also brought me awesome opportunities as well as connected me to a lot of amazing people.
There is no much nonsense online these days I am really proud of myself for becoming a resource for people on the same journey as myself.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
My favorite thing about our city is how quickly it is growing. As someone born and raised in Arizona I really have seen it in a lot of phases over the last 31 years. I think it is awesome how people are starting to see the greatness in our city and enjoying it as much as I have living here. I also love the food scene coming to the area – growing up I always was so jealous of bigger cities and all the cool food spots they had – it is fun to see them come here as well!

The thing I least like about our city outside of the heat is people not venturing outside of Scottsdale. There are so so many incredible parts of Phoenix – for example where I live in North Phoenix we are rapidly growing and have some awesome spots to visit such as Sparrow, the 4 corners, etc. and I cannot tell you how often I bring someone over to this area and they say “I didn’t know this existed” – I wish people were open to exploring the city more.
