Conversations with Victoria Enriquez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Enriquez.

Hi Victoria, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
How I started? That’s a loaded question.
I have always moved through life with curiosity, trusting that everything unfolds exactly as it should. That faith has given me the perspective that my hardest seasons weren’t happening to me — they were happening for me, shaping me into who I was meant to become.
Like so many of us, my story begins with childhood wounds I didn’t have words for. Emotional neglect rarely gets named or acknowledged — it’s quietly normalized through conditioning that doesn’t serve us. And so cycles begin: survival, solitude, rediscovery — repeating until something finally wakes us up.
For much of my life, I was simply surviving — grateful to make it through another month on my own. I had very little support, very little affection, and very little love. As a single mother working in the medical field, I gave everything I had to my work and my family.
I built a career as a skilled medical assistant in gynecological surgery and family medicine, holding space for women through their most vulnerable moments. Through that work, I witnessed firsthand how rarely women are taught to understand, trust, and honor their own bodies. And quietly, I began to witness myself — realizing I had never experienced a truly mutual, loving, long-term relationship. I kept choosing partners who would, in time, hurt me or leave me. It was a pattern I could no longer ignore.
Eventually, I had to ask why.
That question cracked everything open. It launched my profound journey into self-love and healing — slowly, tenderly processing long-buried childhood wounds. I came to accept, little by little, that I had never truly felt worthy of love.
The past ten years have been a sacred awakening. I have grown into myself and remembered who I truly am. I discovered Reiki energy healing, then fell deeply in love with sound healing — and I found my calling in sharing these combined modalities with others who are ready to open their chakras, release buried emotions, and get their energy flowing again. As a lightworker, I guide others through the same practices that saved me: meditation, solitude, and intentional healing.
I have written books on this journey, and for several years I hosted my own show on News for the Soul radio. This summer, I am continuing to gather groups for Floating Sound Baths — a beautiful, healing experience for everyone. Stay tuned for dates and times!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Smooth? Not even close.
Starting out at nineteen as a single mother was jarring and overwhelming. I had been raised in a sheltered, religious household — so when real life hit, I was completely unprepared. I was practically going blind, and rather than rallying around me, my family walked away. That abandonment set the tone for years to come: facing the hardest moments of my life almost entirely alone.
The struggles kept coming. I continued choosing painful relationships. I experienced homelessness — not because of carelessness, but simply because I had no safety net. No one who had watched me grow up stepped in to help. And underneath all of it, I was still carrying unhealed childhood wounds I hadn’t yet named. I was trying so hard to stay positive, to live well, to love — especially my mother — while not yet understanding that she had, at times, deliberately caused me harm.
There is one chapter I share because it matters: I was incarcerated for something I did not do. A police officer lied on the stand, and as someone who had no experience navigating the legal system, I was blindsided. My public defender led me to believe I had no real options. I ended up in the system — a jarring, disorienting experience that added yet another layer of pain to an already heavy journey.
Everything just kept piling on. And at a certain point, I found myself in a very dark place — feeling completely unworthy of love and unsure of what direction to take.
That’s when something shifted.
I began following my intuition. I leaned into my spirituality and the guidance I felt from beyond. One step led to another, and I was introduced to sound healing — and for the first time, something truly opened up for me. I began to feel good about myself. The direction of my life turned, and it kept moving forward in ways I hadn’t thought possible.
I still believe, with everything I am, that every difficult thing that happens to us is orchestrated — to place us exactly where we need to be, and to teach us what we need to learn, so we can come home to ourselves.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work lives at the intersection of healing, awakening, and self-discovery.
I am the founder of MeditationTime, a sole proprietorship built on one core belief: that going within is the most powerful journey we will ever take. Meditation is the foundation of everything I offer — learning to focus on the breath, to quiet the noise, and to reconnect with ourselves is where all true healing begins. The benefits to mind, body, and soul are profound and far-reaching.
From that foundation, I have developed a range of offerings:
• Self-Love Courses — including specialized programs for couples ready to deepen their connection
• Sound Healing Journeys — immersive individual sessions using the medicine of sound to release what words cannot reach
• Chakra Learning — guided experiences to help people understand, open, and align their energy centers
• Tuning Fork Sessions — precise vibrational work to restore balance and flow
• Sound Baths — deeply restorative group and individual experiences
• Reiki Healing & Balancing — energy work that clears blockages and invites harmony back into the body

My most popular offering is my Three-Touch Modality Session — a unique, deeply sensory experience that incorporates gentle touch, scratching, and tickling to awaken the nervous system and reconnect people with feelings that have long been buried. Clients leave with an extraordinary sense of well-being — often describing it as feeling alive in their body for the first time in years.
What sets me apart is the combination of lived experience and genuine passion. I am not someone who studied healing from the outside — I walked through the fire myself. I know what it means to feel unworthy, disconnected, and lost. That is exactly why people trust me with their healing.
My mission is to awaken people to universal energy, to help them trust their intuition, and to show them that sound is the medicine of the future. Pain is not a life sentence — it is buried trauma, and it can be released. Joy is not out of reach. I am here to help people find their way back to it.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
A final word for our readers…
What if the anxiety you can’t shake, the relationships that keep failing, the exhaustion that never lifts — what if none of that is broken? What if it’s all just stuck energy waiting to move? Sound healing, Reiki, and intentional self-love work aren’t mystical luxuries — they are practical tools for real transformation. Come experience it for yourself.
Your body keeps the score. Your soul keeps the map. I just help you read it.

Find me, follow me, and come float with me this summer. Healing was never meant to be done alone.
