Hi Mal, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started sharing on TikTok during a really tough season of early motherhood—my son Teddy had colic, and I was just trying to get through each day. I began posting simple, honest videos of me talking to him, not really thinking anything would come from it.
Those videos ended up resonating with a lot of other moms. My humor and the reality of what I was going through struck a chord, and one of the videos went viral.
Since then, I’ve built a really strong, supportive community of women who connect with my authenticity and the way I share both the highs and lows of motherhood and everyday life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Having a newborn with colic was incredibly challenging, and I was really in the thick of it when I started sharing.
That said, building a community through those videos made such a difference—it helped me feel less alone during a really hard time. We’re out of that phase now, but as any mom knows, each season brings its own new challenges.

I create lifestyle and motherhood content on TikTok and Instagram, focusing on real, everyday moments. I’m known for my honest and lighthearted take on motherhood, especially during the more challenging phases.
I’m most proud of the supportive community I’ve built. What sets me apart is that my content feels very natural and relatable—it’s not overly curated, just real life.
What does success mean to you?
I define success as having a village and being a villager. Having people around you who support you, and being that same source of support for others—it’s everything.
