Story & Lesson Highlights with Nashira Dudley of Central phoenix

We recently had the chance to connect with Nashira Dudley and have shared our conversation below.

Nashira, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Right now I’m building myself, my business, and my brand.
I own a business consulting firm and I model, act, and I am an influencer.
I work hard, I work 12-18 hour days. I love working but sometimes people see the end result and not the behind the scenes work I put into myself personally and in my business over the years.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My business consulting firm, Shi Consulting, LLC. is very unique. I try to be a one stop shop for all my clients business needs. I connect advertisers with publishers, I do SEO. I help them profit and get a good return on their investment. I help businesses get capital, I do social media management. I literally try to do it all for a good price and that’s what separates me from other consulting firms. I also bring my fun personality into my business by doing fun events.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I was homeless some years back. I was homeless for a year. I was down and depressed sleeping in homeless shelters and sleeping on the street.
But one day I picked myself up and got a job at the Amazon warehouse. I moved back in with my mom and my step dad. I saved my money and paid for my car all cash. I promised myself I would never be homeless again.
This helped me see the world differently. I want to be a billionaire one day. Matter of fact I will be one in God’s timing. I don’t want to be a billionaire for myself. I want to help people. I think I went through that for a reason.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Honestly, I don’t necessarily give up. But I do stop things and then have to pick myself up again.
For example, I was doing really good as a model and actress. I was getting booked all of the time. But then things would happen and I would stop.
I’m not doing that anymore and I will never give up.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I admire the singer Ciara. Her and Russel Wilson have such a beautiful relationship. I love the fact that she’s kind and a good person but she also seems like she’s fun and is a good role model for women.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would stop caring what others think and live my best life. I’m actually doing that now.
