Mia Logan shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Mia , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
Many are struggling with feeling alone and being depressed in the times that we are living in today. Many don’t want to ask for the right kind of help and then many today feel as if they’ll be judged. It’s hard to put pride aside because the world bombards us with financial independence and freedom when yet it’s not the answer at all. Many compare themselves to whatever they make think or feel is beautiful and yet the comparison is all wrong.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a Wife, mother, a nail tech and educator, friend, health advocate and so much more. I’m a very honest person because I live by the scriptural teachings knowing that whatever is in the dark will always come to light. I have never been a follower and I love making others happy because there’s so much sadness in the world today.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was the same person I am today just a bit more rough around the edges! I am now more polished and I have never allowed the world to tell me who I am and who I should be. I could never allow the world to tell me how and in which way I should live my life, well let me restate that! I have learned so much from seeing the things I’ve seen and experienced so in retrospect the world taught me to build my faith in Jehovah and everything will align and be so much calmer in life. I learned that without Jehovah in the center of my life it was all chaos!
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Rely on Jehovah and never give up on him or self. Try your hardest not to compare because as we know our 16 yr old daughter always says, comparison is the thief of joy. We prefer happiness over heartache. Oh and if there’s an inclination of a red flag listen to it. Listen to yourself and you can do anything you put your mind to!
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Today they would say that, my relationship with Jehovah, my family and educating others to help them grow throughout their many walks in life really matter to me. Helping young ones and others to see their worth and that they’re so valued.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
