Bailey Crawford shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Bailey, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of work, I’ve found a lot of joy in trying new things and exploring different experiences. I recently decided to audition for a musical with a local theatre company, which has been a whole new adventure for me. Over the past two years, I’ve broken out of my shell a bit and joined a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Our group even had the chance to speak on three different D&D panels at Phoenix Fan Fusion and Tucson Comic-Con. As if that wasn’t nerdy enough, I also learned how to play Magic: The Gathering!
We recently became scuba certified and took a dive trip to Costa Rica, and I’ve also started working toward a skydiving certification. While my work as a photographer and videographer is something I’m deeply passionate about, I truly value the joy that comes from all the different people I get to meet through this industry.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
At The Crawford Collective Co., we help businesses find their voice, craft their message, and show up online with confidence.
From strategy calls to content creation, we take care of everything—filming, editing, captions, hashtags, and scheduling—so your brand looks and feels cohesive across every platform.
We don’t just post; we partner with you to build campaigns that connect, funnels that convert, and content that captures your audience’s attention.
Your job is to run your business; our job is to show the world why it stands out.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Something that really shaped how I see the world has been moving—living in different cities, states, and countries. Traveling and connecting with locals, having deeper conversations, and learning about their worldviews have all broadened my perspective. The knowledge you gain from seeing the world through someone else’s eyes is truly unmatched.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one thing to my younger self, it would be to spend time getting to know who you are. Discover what truly makes you happy. Define the things that fill your cup and make you zealous about life. Recognize what makes you uncomfortable and understand why. Then, identify the things you will not stand for and set healthy boundaries around them.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I hope they would say THEM! I have such an incredible community of really good buddies, and for that I will always be grateful.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days.
I think I still get just as excited to work. Of course, it’s still work — and it can be hard and strenuous at times. But the neat part about this field is how diverse it is. Each shoot and each client we create content for are so vastly different. I feel really lucky to learn so much about worlds I once knew little about every time I go out and film.
