Story & Lesson Highlights with Oswaldo Ramirez of West Phoenix

We recently had the chance to connect with Oswaldo Ramirez and have shared our conversation below.

Oswaldo , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
My personal and professional legacy.
Personally I’m leaving a good example to my kids, that we have to work hard and never stop following our dreams. And professional that I’ve built trust in my clients

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Oswaldo Ramirez, the CEO and Technician of Tino’s Heating and Cooling.
We’re a family owned business that has been helping families and businesses with their A/C needs since 2015.
Tinos is my father’s nickname and so is mine. I decided to named my business after our nickname because I have a very close relationship with my father and I’m very proud of him and what he has accomplishe.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I don’t believe in “luck”… I believe in hard working individuals that are willing and capable to make the right decisions to be successful in life

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, in the beginning of the journey when I started my business, I was getting very frustrated because I was not working as I wanted, because a lot people didn’t believe on me, I was judged because a young and didn’t have the experience. I remembering telling my wife that I was going to go back to a 9-5. But I’m glad I never did it because now in days I have a very successful business

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
“Honest” is what fight for everyday…. If you don’t work with honesty I think sooner than later you can loose credibility with the people that thrust you

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
My honesty. Like I mentioned before I fight for honesty everyday
