Story & Lesson Highlights with Lena Buckner of Glendale

We recently had the chance to connect with Lena Buckner and have shared our conversation below.

Lena, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
My most recent Proud Moment was when I won the Ms. Ultimate Elite 2026 Title with the Ultimate Elite Pageant Queens.. Like most women I never thought that Pageantry would fit my lifestyle, but this Particular Pageant System has accepted me for who I am as a Model, Mom and Business Woman.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
First and Foremost, Lena Marie is a Mom, and My Children are my Reason why I do what I do. Being able to provide for them in ways my Parents couldn’t is my ultimate goal.

I have been modeling off and on since I was 18 years old. Started doing little photo shoots in San Diego, CA where I was born and raised. I have always been a Free Spirit and definitely feel most Comfortable in My Own Skin.

Modeling became a bigger part of my life once I moved to Lawton, Ok in 2007 and started shooting with different photographers there. I was actually published for the First Time in 2012 in a magazine called Naked Hustle Magazine, October 2012 Breast Cancer Edition. I have also been published in OTH Magazine, The R Report Magazine, and Alt Arabella Magazine, just to name a few of the Magazines I’ve been in and very grateful for all of them. I have also walked on Many Runways here in Phoenix, AZ and had the pleasure of doing one Runway Show in Atlanta, GA.

Currently holding the Pagenant Title of Ms. Ultimate Elite 2026 with the Ultimate Elite Pagenant Queens located here in Phoenix, Az. Stepping into the Pagenant System was a bit intimidating, but it was also one of the Best Moments in my Life and Modeling Career. Winning the Title and Crown was and has been an Honor.

What is it exactly that I do across the board… Well.. I offer Modeling, Massage Therapy (Regular and Tantra), Content Creator, Promotions Manager, Artist Management, Model Coordinator, Notary Services, Wedding Officiant, Video Vixen, Pole Fitness Classes, and on the more Grown Side of things, I also offer Private Dance Classes and more. I wear Many Hats and I love doing them all.

Lena Marie, as a Brand, is ultimately a Walking and Working Professional Business Woman who strives to be an Exceptional and Extraordinary Business Woman.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
This whole year has been an eye-opening experience for me, but the Moment that really changed my outlook happened at the end of August this year. I decided to enter the Ultimate Elite Pageant. I have always wanted to participate in a Pageant and potentially win a Crown, and I knew that my Mom/family would be in town. I went through a whole weekend of Pageant activities to arrive on the day of the pageant, and my mother/family informed me that they would not be making it to support me. She was at my sister’s house, but couldn’t make it to support me. My son was with me that whole weekend and was disappointed as well.

It was that day that my outlook changed. The look on my son’s face changed my whole outlook on how I deal with the world and family. He wanted to know “Why” and I didn’t have an answer to that question. I could only tell him that sometimes, family may not see how important some things are to other people unless it’s beneficial to them as well.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
As you walk along the Path, always remember to Never Dim your light for anyone, because even in Darkness, one can find Happiness if one only remembers that you are the Light!

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
That would have to be building a great foundation and legacy that both my daughter and son can be proud of, and hopefully continue to build on and pass down to their own children.

At this present point in my life, my daughter, who is my firstborn, is grown and pursuing her own life and making me proud every day. My secondborn daughter passed away in August 2004 from Tricomony 21. My son, who is my lastborn, is with me at home. He is currently in high school and loves to game. He also models with me part-time, but is my full-time bodyguard.

My children and being a great Mother are what matter to me the most.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If immortality were real, what would you build?
I would build a lasting community for single parents and families who have no family or outside help—a place where they can find support, connection, and encouragement. It would be a network built on shared strength and compassion, where parents not only receive help but also uplift and support one another. A legacy of care and unity that would endure for generations.
