Tisha Marie Pelletier shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Tisha Marie , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day definitely does not involve work. I’ve learned through the years that I’m more productive and effective if I ease into my day by spending it loving on my pups, and being in mom mode helping my kiddos off to school. They’re both teenagers, but at any age, they still need their mom! Once they’re off to school, I slip into “me” mode and use my morning to exercise either by going on a long walk, hitting the gym, or taking a kickboxing class, then come back to start my day. I don’t take meetings typically until 10 am, which gives me plenty of time to relax, eliminate any stress, and settle into a new day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! I’m Tisha, a serial entrepreneur since September 2004 who just hit 21 years on the entrepreneurial roller coaster. I’ve launched six businesses in marketing, event management, a networking group for mom entrepreneurs, my own personal brand, real estate and now, I’m working on my newest venture, Our Merch Page.
Our Merch Page is merchandise marketing made simple. I started this venture with my business partner, Ginger Marsh, or as like to call her, my creative extraordinaire. She’s a genius when it comes to taking our partners’ visions and creating unique designs. We initially started this business as a business to consumer site called Love Laugh Smile Gifts and after 11 months in business and many signs this wasn’t it, we decided, “Nope, time to pivot!”
We re-imagined how our new business, Our Merch Page, could help business owners, schools, nonprofits, and churches alleviate their merch headaches without having to buy and store inventory in bulk, manage, ship it, or handle customers. We do everything from creating an e-commerce page on our site to design, product sourcing, fulfillment, content creation, marketing, and customer service. Our Merch Page is a full service, sustainable, merchandise marketing boutique based in Arizona shipping all over the US.
We launched this business in April 2025 and LOVE what we’ve created and the many organizations we’re helping! We’re boosting their visibility one product at a time with loyal friends and fans who love them.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My friend and mentor, Al. I call him my step-in-dad. He’s 78-years-old and is always smiling. I met him at the gym back in 2016 in the sauna of all places. Fully clothed of course. I’ve always loved his positive spin on life. He’s seen me throughout several seasons of my life from the highs to the rock bottoms, and would always remind me of the person I am, and that I could rise from anything thrown in my way.
When I was in my thirties, he told me, “Tisha, just you wait until you hit your 40’s. Best years of your life. You won’t care about what other people think anymore and life will become what you want it to be.”
He was absolutely right! He’s been one person I can constantly turn to no matter where I’m at in life to listen and offer up sound advice. One of my biggest supporters and my role model.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
YES! So many times. It would have to be the start of January 2017 when my event management business was the victim of fraud/money laundering and I was found guilty. I had no idea, but I was scammed and in the end, I had to re-pay everything back.
It broke me. It stole my confidence. I wasn’t the same Tisha. It took a lot for me to find myself again. It nearly ruined my marriage, my relationship with my kiddos, friends and family was distant. I had to pull myself back up after wanting to give everything up and the one thing that saved me was the stage. I spoke very vulnerably about my situation when I was asked to give a talk. From there, more opportunities to speak on stages came and I earned the status of professional and paid speaker.
Isn’t it ironic that the setbacks we experience where we want to give up become our greatest setup?
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Hands down, they’d say community. I am always the person organizing the get together happy hours and community outreach events. From blood drives, hosting Friendsgiving and business mixers, to pulling volunteers to assist me at the senior community, I very much have a servant heart. It drives everything I do.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
My #mondaymotivationalpush Monday series and my #lessonsinmylexus Friday series. I’ve appeared on camera for several years now smiling, sharing positive vibes, insights and my “what are the odds” stories. When I retire, you could say I’ll most likely retire both series and get off social media!
