We’re looking forward to introducing you to Rhonda Steinke. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Rhonda, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
These are all valuable and work as a triad yet if had to choose would be energy. Without energy intelligence and integrity decline. With energy there is more potential to excel with intelligence and integrity. This is why my meditation practice is so valuable. My practice Harnesses energy (prana) and balances it within my system to fuel desire and aspirations in my life. Definitely do not have unlimited energy but have noticed overall it is improving and without consistent practice life seems harder, more challenging to navigate and do not like non-meditating version of myself.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Naturopathic Physician specializing in the skill of Pranic Healing. Have grown to understand and trust the skill over a decade of practicing and seeing results. Now working on becoming more efficient and sharing what has been learned within Pranic Healing and Naturopathic Medicine.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Every relationship has shaped my life! This being said, my Grandpa pops into mind first. Because of my grandfather I see potential in myself. He taught there are no limitations in what can be done and the only thing stopping me is myself. Grew up on a small farm, family was the only farm hands and there was always an abundance of work to be done! Grandpa showed me gender or age did not matter in achievement there was work that needs to be done so just do it. As an elder, he challenged me to a pull-up contest in the greenhouse on the overhang bars and won by a landslide.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Hope is a powerful medicine. Without hope there is no possibility of change. With hope you gain faith and start the search for answers. The search is the journey and there is so much to learn and grow in the journey. Keeping the hope and faith adds momentum for change and eventually a solution. We think the medicine for suffering is outside of ourselves but we need to start looking within.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
Master Choa Kok Sui, the modern founder of Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga. Have studied his teachings for quite sometimes and the material continues to bring amazement. Such simple teachings with depth, power and desire to improve the world. The structure of his books, meditations, and classes are like frameworks for continuous improvement in life. When life hits you with a gust of wind all you have to do is go back to his frameworks to get back on point and keep trying. The structure has worked for me & continues to work in different scenarios. Watching it work for others too builds confidence to keep trusting the ideas.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
Our body has the innate ability to heal. To heal properly we need to remove obstacles to cure and improve vitality. This is a simple truth that so many people get side-tracked by health fads or easy fixes. My speciality is to help identify, reduce and/or remove obstacles hindering vitality and improve vitality within the system. The more vitality we have within our system, the more potential there is to heal.
When we heal, we have health. Our society has a limited view of health. We often equate youth and beauty to optimal health but this view can sometimes miss vitality and wisdom. We cannot expect a body to stay wrinkle free as it learns to smile through life’s circumstances. The outcome of eventually happily smiling is a vital practice of health even if achieved in elder years and comes with frown wrinkles from years of trying.
