Monica Huldt

Hi Monica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I moved from Sweden to the US about seven years ago. In Sweden, I work as a teacher, and that is why I have a bachelor’s degree. I met my husband online, and we started a long-distance relationship. After about two years, I decided to move to the US to be with him. That was when I started using my social media to make money.

We did struggle a lot at first; we lived in LA, and everything was so expensive. But we did manage; he was a personal trainer, and I did brand deals on social media, which did not pay well. Then, the pandemic hit, and my husband was laid off because the gym was closing. By then, I had already started using only fans, but it wasn’t a huge business yet. So in 2019, when the pandemic hit, only fans took off. So, my husband and I just started to make it our own business.

I had an article go pretty viral at the same time, so we started to make really good money. But the situation in LA was really bad during the pandemic, so we just decided to move. And that is how we ended up in Arizona. Now I still do onlyfans but I have also done my first fitness competition last year here in Phx, I did win in my category which was amazing. This year, I am competing again.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road to my success has been everything BUT smooth. Being online and working with social media is not easy. Not only do people troll you for everything, but everyone has an opinion online, and you can’t get away from that. Secondly, TikTok and Instagram platforms will suppress your views and ban you just because they feel like it.

My account on Instagram has been banned probably 25 times for no reason. So it is hard to work like that, but it is what it is. Then there is the mental health aspect of working with only fans. It is not easy and people and brands will judge you for it super hard.

Also, you might lose friends and family because of it. I am grateful to have a lot of support and am doing fine. I also have my fitness, which I absolutely love.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I create content on Instagram and a lot of funny content and fitness modeling. I am proud of my fitness journey and the business I have built for myself.

What sets me apart from others is that I am Swedish and have an accent. I am a very, very hard worker, and there is nothing that I can NOT do!

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
Well think long and hard about how your choice will effect you life, because being on social media and doing onlyfans carries a lot of stigma with it, is the criticism something you can handle?

If so, go for it, but if there are any doubts, then you should not do it. Because your mental health is something very important, and you don’t want to cause yourself unnecessary hurt.
