Rising Stars: Meet Reagan Briggs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Reagan Briggs.

Hi Reagan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur, so that’s exactly what I did! Since day 1, I wanted to be my own boss and run my own business. Real estate-wise, I wanted to be in this industry since I was 3 years old. Walking down the Malibu beach with my father, Jack, he commented to me that someone gets the insanely cool job of selling these beachfront properties. Immediately, I knew that is what I wanted to do and I have truly worked my entire life with real estate as the end goal. While in high school, I launched REAMOR Marketing with my twin sister, Morgan Briggs. At the age of 15, we were creating the digital marketing campaigns for many small businesses in Scottsdale and helping them hit record-breaking years in sales! Two years later, I graduated high school a year early, eagerly awaiting working in this industry. I was then able to continue my work with digital marketing in my dream field by becoming a Real Estate Assistant & Director of Marketing for a local, luxury team. As soon as I turned 18, I became licensed and never looked back! After dabbling in commercial and wholesale, I learned that luxury residential sales is where I shine the most and where my skillset works the best for my clients. Now, I am at the most outstanding brokerage, Engel & Völkers Scottsdale, helping buyers, sellers, & high-profile renters daily! Not only this, but I also was able to launch another innovative company with my sister Morgan. She is a lending professional with Bay Equity Home Loans (#1944455) and we decided to combine our careers with one of our greatest passions, ice hockey, therefore creating AZ Hockey Homes!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road whatsoever, but I am thankful for the challenges! I’ve had to overcome challenges by making difficult decisions early on in my career. These challenges included starting a career as COVID-19 came about and to enter the industry with an unprecedented market taking place. Thankfully, it has made me much stronger than I ever could have imagined as well as allowed me to hone my skills at a faster pace! Another struggle I had was finding a brokerage that felt like home. Thankfully, I am now associated with the most amazing brokerage: Engel & Völkers Scottsdale, which is led by our incredible broker, Bob Nathan. They were the missing puzzle pieces for me. Here, I have the global reach, stellar brand, and years of expertise I’ve always craved in not only a company but in a mentor as well.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a residential real estate advisor servicing Scottsdale and its surrounding cities! I specialize in assisting buyers, sellers, and high-profile renters with their respective luxury real estate experiences. As an “almost” AZ native, I also love assisting those relocating to Arizona. Our state is such a beautiful place to be and helping people start a new chapter in their lives is what it’s all about! With AZ Hockey Homes, I offer the same services, but we tailor it to those who play, watch, or simply love hockey! This has been a really interesting market segment for Morgan and I to tap into as we truly think that those who love hockey have very similar personality and cultural traits! As former players here in Scottsdale for 9 years, we feel such a connection to those with the same incredible sporting interest! One segment of AZ Hockey Homes is targeted towards hockey families relocating. Scottsdale is such a tourist spot, even for hockey players! So many travel teams across the United States and Canada schedule tournaments here each season that we want to offer our services to those either looking to move here full-time or would like to purchase a second home in this beautiful city.

What sets me apart from others in my industry is the fact that I treat my clients as I would want to be treated. I’m honest and I always have their best interest at heart. I put client experience and happiness over a commission which is where I feel like I differ from most other agents.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Professionally, what matters most to me is client experience! Real estate is a sales-focused industry, but it is more customer experience than anything else! If you make sure you live up to your personal morals, ethics, and values every single day, then you are able to be a better advisor. I always want authenticity to show through with my work and I would like to think that I have done a good job keeping it real. Personally, my family matters the most to me, especially my parents, Jack and Susan! They are my role models in life and I am so thankful for the sacrifices they have made for me and all the lessons they taught me throughout my life. I would not be who I am today without them!
