With over 16 years of experience in the beauty industry, Valeria Fuerte has built a career rooted in artistry, education, and passion. Her journey began in retail cosmetics and was shaped by nearly a decade with MAC Cosmetics, where she became a MAC Pro Certified Artist and worked across three states, gaining experience with diverse skin tones and beauty styles. Today, as a freelance makeup artist for over seven years, Valeria specializes in bridal and beauty makeup throughout the Phoenix Valley while also providing education and mentorship to aspiring artists. Her mission is simple: to help every client feel confident, beautiful, and empowered.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
“It’s been a wonderful journey. While there have been challenges along the way, moving across the country, cultural changes and all but every experience has helped shape me into the artist and entrepreneur I am today. I’m grateful for the lessons, the growth, and the opportunities that have come with this career.”

As a makeup artist based in the Phoenix Valley, I specialize in bridal, beauty glam, and education. I create timeless, natural yet elevated looks for brides and clients for special occasions, always enhancing their natural features. Being bilingual allows me to connect with a diverse clientele, and I’m passionate about teaching others how to bring out the best version of themselves through makeup.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Alongside my work in beauty, I’m also a Pilates instructor, where I’m deeply passionate about movement, strength, and mindful fitness. I love helping clients connect with their bodies, build core strength, and feel empowered from within. For me, beauty and fitness go hand in hand—both are about confidence, discipline, and becoming the best version of yourself inside and out.
