Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Landa.
Hi Amy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was introduced to my clairvoyance when I was 19 years old, but shied away from it. As an empty nester, around 10 years ago, I began to develop my psychic skills with confidence and maturity. A short while after I began studying under Tina Escoto in Cave Creek, my mediumship skills came online, and I have been developing and practicing them ever since. My mediumship education expanded with trainings by UK’s Acorn Academy of Mediumship and by studying under world renown mediums at the International Spiritualist Foundation’s 2025 annual event. My commercial enterprise started in 2023 when www.MediumAmy.com went live. Around that time I founded The Medium Lights, a group of lighthearted mediums offering entertainment and enlightenment through public events. Your Cosmic Connection in Peoria adopted us into their community and provided a solid stepping stone for each of us Medium Lights to evolve our individual practices and businesses in separate ways.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been bumpy mostly due to my needing to learn new technologies – from WIX website management to maneuvering in Facebook and Instagram. My Canva skills are vastly improved. I have a YouTube channel, but have yet to publish content. Which brings me to my second major struggle: marketing myself. In my 45-year career as a financial accountant, the only times I needed to market myself was when I was looking for a job. Selling my skills as a psychic medium is a whole new ballgame. Slowly, steadily, and always copying off the smart kids, I am getting better at self promotion.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
After a 45-year career in financial accounting, the thrill of truly helping people with what I do is huge. As a medium, I communicate with loved ones who have passed on, and I have delivered many of their messages for healing, hope and happiness that make an enormous difference to the lives of the people who hire me. It is an honor to work in the realm of the divine. What sets me apart from others is how I tend to attract the lighthearted. Many in the spirit world have tremendous senses of humor that they enjoy unleashing through me, which lightens the experience with laughter and ease. Reverence and joy are not mutually exclusive. I am most proud of being an active instrument for healing and spiritual growth.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see massive shifts in the public’s hunger for deeper meaning in their lives. As power-from-the-top-down cultural structures fall apart, organized religion fails to meet people’s personal spiritual needs. The big shifts, changes and trends are illustrated astrologically. We have said goodbye to the 2000 year-long age of Pisces where rigid rules of royalty and religion ruled the masses. We are currently saying hello to the 2000 year-long age of Aquarius where power comes from the masses. Key buzzwords include humanitarianism, collective consciousness and technological advancement. Providing proof that our souls live on after our bodies die shifts the ways in which we choose to conduct our time on the planet earth. I foresee kindness and community returning to our cultural norms. We are living in exciting times for the metaphysical arts!
