Hi Nikki , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Dr. Nikki was motivated by the families that she served to create Confident Beginnings. She kept hearing parents say “I wish I had known,” or “I wish babies came with an instruction manual!” which is what motivated her to embark on the journey. She uses her evidence-based knowledge as a Dr in physical therapy to create resources for parents of children 0-18 months.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Confident Beginnings has been a learning journey! We have had to learn how to reach our target audience and let them know we exist.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Confident Beginnings?
We provide learning resources for parents of children 0-18 months. Our goal is to be parents’ ‘Missing Manual’ and provide them with a resource that is backed by an expert instead of spiraling on Google for hours just to find conflicting information. What sets us apart is the accessibility that users have to Dr. Nikki and various other providers at their fingertips! We are proud of the families that we have supported and the moments when parents get the clarity they deserve. We want readers to know that we are looking for families just like theirs to support!
