Today we’d like to introduce you to Livi DarConte.
Hi Livi, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi! I’m Livi DarConte, I’m a Director, Producer and Screenwriter currently based in Arizona. My passion for storytelling began in front of the camera at just two years old, acting in films and commercials which over time that passion led me behind the lens to pursue my creative vision. For the past several years, I’ve worked professionally in the film and music entertainment industries, focusing on narrative films, music videos, and commercial work. My projects are defined by striking visuals, emotional depth, and a surreal, avant-garde sensibility that allows me to create immersive cinematic worlds rooted in vulnerability and authentic expression. I’m driven by a desire to tell stories that resonate on both a visceral and emotional level while continually pushing my artistry to new heights. Through each project, I aim to blend bold imagination with meaningful storytelling, creating work that is both visually compelling and deeply human.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like any career, there are always challenges along the way. I’ve learned that those challenges are some of the greatest opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally. Especially in a creative field like filmmaking, there is always something new to learn and ways to expand your knowledge. When obstacles arise, they push you to become stronger, more resourceful, and more in tune with your craft. The film industry is also incredibly competitive, which means you have to consistently bring your best work and be willing to fight for what you want. There have been moments that required perseverance, adaptability, and confidence in my vision. But despite the challenges, I absolutely love filmmaking and everything that comes with the journey. Smooth or not, every step has been worth it.

I’m a Director, Producer, and Screenwriter working across narrative film, music videos, and commercial projects, focused on creating visually driven stories rooted in emotion and atmosphere. My work blends cinematic imagery with a surreal, avant-garde sensibility, shaping each project through strong tone, mood, and intentional visual language. I develop concepts from the ground up, crafting story, structure, and visual direction in a way that supports performance and builds immersive worlds on screen. Each project is approached with a focus on emotional clarity, strong composition, and a cohesive cinematic identity from beginning to end.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is being on set. I don’t remember if it was a commercial or a film, but I was around seven years old and especially curious that day. I remember walking up to different crew members, asking what each of them did, not really understanding the roles, just thinking it was all about having fun in front of the camera. That’s when I first became aware of the director and what their role meant. I don’t remember the exact words he said, but I remember him explaining that everything we were filming existed because of his creative vision. In my own way, I understood it as storytelling, bringing ideas to life and shaping them into something visual and real. As an imaginative, constantly daydreaming kid, that idea stayed with me. It made me realize that film was a way to create entire worlds and tell stories you could actually see. That moment quietly sparked the passion that led me here today.
