Hi Brooklyn, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Brooklyn Dream, a vibrant artist from the Bay Area, CA, has been captivating audiences with her dynamic on-stage presence for over a decade. Her journey began in the realm of dance entertainment, where she made a name for herself before transitioning into music creation at the age of 15 as a member of the girl group Me Plus 2.
Determined to carve out her own path, Brooklyn released her debut solo single and has since been on a remarkable journey of growth and discovery. A self-taught songwriter, she is currently expanding her skills in music engineering and production with guidance from Just Breathe Studios. This collaboration has been crucial in enhancing her understanding of composition and sound. Brooklyn Dream’s infectious positivity and loving aura shine through her music as she builds her solo career, one step at a time.

Brooklyn Dream would like to connect with others and share a message that reflects who she is. Through her music, she wants to inspire self-worth, ambition, and resilience. Her goal is to give people the chance to hear her story and lift up others by showing how we can overcome struggles together. She believes we all have something in common, and hopes the message resonates with those who can relate.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been smooth or easy, but I’ve certainly enjoyed every step of my journey. Early in my dance career, I was told no and had to train harder to earn my spot. Once I did, I had to work three times as hard because of my size. Now, as an artist, I handle my own music uploads while my small team helps with music videos and bookings—every step has come with its own challenges.
The one constant lesson has been persistence. I remember as a young girl, I used to hear “never give up,” but at 22, I finally understand what that means. Even when I thought I was done, I never actually quit. You keep trying until something works because if you stop, you’ll never know what was on the other side of that struggle. You owe it to yourself to make the dream a reality.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Since 2017, I’ve been a recording artist, but my journey in entertainment started much earlier—I was a full-time dancer by the age of 3. I trained in all styles, from ballet to breakdancing, and after reaching my biggest dreams in dance, I felt inspired to pour that same passion into music. My sisters and I formed the girl group Me Plus 2, and together we created our song “Bend It Ova” which has over 400,000+ streams and 90K+ views on YouTube. In 2022, we had the amazing opportunity to perform with Seddy Hendrinx on Yung Bleu’s Moonboy Tour. At the end of that year, we relocated to Arizona, and I later released my solo singles “Veins” (October 2024) and “Paid The Price” (December 2024). I’m so excited for what’s next as I continue to release more music in the coming months!
What makes me unique is the experience and knowledge I’ve gained just by being in rooms with incredible, inspiring people. I’ve been blessed to work in the industry for over 12 years, and I’m only 22. One thing I’ve learned is that belief in yourself makes all the difference. Many artists feel like they need to be “discovered,” but in reality, there’s a way to be both independent and mainstream. This industry is full of possibilities—you just have to learn how to make the system work for you.
What are your plans for the future?
Releasing my two singles has really helped me find my sound, and I’m excited to keep exploring and growing from here. Creating music is my passion, and I love sharing it through visuals and art, so you can definitely expect more music, videos, and creative projects soon!
I’ve been interested in putting together a showcase or production on the West Coast with some amazing artists to showcase their talent and creativity. It’s something I’d love to bring to life, and I’m always open to connecting with creatives who are interested in being part of it!
