Hi Monica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story is like “rags to riches” if you looked at it from a self-love perspective. Growing up, I was very shy, insecure, didn’t have many friends, and always felt like I wasn’t good enough in many ways. My parents were immigrants and so I grew up with an achievement-based mindset, which unfortunately translated as well into the idea that I had to “earn” being loved.
Over the years and many life experiences, including anxiety, depression, codependency and negative mindsets, I began to find the motivation to rise above the hardships and find inner strength, resilience, independence, self-love and affirmation.
Among the many healing modalities I encountered along the way, Astrology was one of the main ways I began to see myself for the inner value and potential I had. It was like a north star, always shining and guiding me towards my higher self, no matter what experiences pulled me back into a lower vibrational state of being. The empowerment I discovered led me to experiencing everything through a deeper lens of purpose for my growth, and I decided to no longer be a victim of limiting conditioning.
It’s been my purpose now to help others seeking to make powerful and impactful change in their lives to do the same. Using Astrology, I’ve helped countless people see through the cycles and patterns, and get back on a path of inner alignment.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road, and I quickly learned that healing is also non-linear and layered. At times when I thought I was doing better, I’d again encounter my main foes: failure, rejection and most of all, an overwhelming sense of loneliness. The new connections I had made that I thought were more aligned, still didn’t turn out that way, and I had to learn again to rebuild a sense of self despite the losses I encountered.
What it all made me realize though, is with each set back, I ultimately got back up and tried again. With the understanding of my inner energetic misalignments according to my birth chart, I could see exactly what areas of my energy I could build and focus on to strength my vibrational frequency.
A lot of the work that I help clients with, is taking the desire for the external to ‘fix’ the emptiness inside of ourself, and put the energetic focus back on oneself. This internal focus has been a tremendous help for helping me bounce back and soar to higher heights.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As an astrologer, I assist people in activating a deep sense of inner knowing, and rejuvenating their desire for taking action towards creating their most aligned life. The main services I offer are birth chart readings, as well as sound healing for group wellness events. Because of my background in psychology, my birth chart readings are more therapeutic in nature, and I can help people see very deeply right to the root of the issues they are facing even within one session. It’s a powerful experience that leaves a lasting impression, so I’ve heard!
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I wouldn’t have been able to keep going throughout the years and continue pursuing this path of service if it wasn’t for my close friends who saw the best in me. You’ll often hear that you are the sum of the 5 closest people around you, and I can definitely attest to that being the case. Any time I began to doubt or almost even give up on this path, I’ve had their positivity and support inspiring me to keep going. So it is because of that, that I aim to do the same for anyone I meet.
