Hi Jamal, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
My story basically starts from my struggle as a young college student not knowing what I was getting myself into after I graduated.
Going through the ups & downs, finally landed me at a point where I wanted to start up a brand. Not just any normal brand, but a brand that represents the pain & struggle. That’s where my brand $TRUGGLENEVERLAST started.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Not a smooth road at all.
Some of the struggles were being able to invest in equipment and having support along the way. It’s never easy starting a brand up by yourself, coming out of your own pocket, living paycheck to paycheck, and just feeling like it’s really you vs. the world.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I do all types of things honestly photography, music, & a brand owner. I’m an all-around type of person. I’m most proud of myself. I could’ve given up so many times.
No matter how much my plans failed, I always kept a level head & my ambition always stayed! What sets me apart from others is that I’m me & don’t follow the crowd or wave. I’m authentic & genuine in my craft.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I would say if anybody deserves credit then it should be God. That’s the only person who’s brought me out of the struggle every time.
