Meet Trailblazer Laurel Pendle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laurel Pendle.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Absolutely! I come from a family of Entrepreneurs. When I was growing up, both my mother and my father had over ten businesses. I learned first-hand what it takes to run a business and have a strong work ethic. I guess you could say that I followed in my family’s footsteps.

Experience and my formal education taught me many valuable skills that were instrumental throughout my professional career. However, I always had a strong desire to work for myself and create unlimited financial potential and freedom in my schedule. This inner passion prompted me to create and launch seven businesses over the years, ranging from real estate, health and wellness products, a global meeting and conference planning business, a pampered pooch pet service company, a full-service creative agency and most recently a business consulting company- LPBC Services. LPBC Services is a female owned company that specializes in business consulting services to help grow and promote your brand through public relations, marketing and business development strategies and solutions.

I am a passionate 25+ year seasoned business professional, mother and serial entrepreneur. I believe in giving back to my community and my faith is a cornerstone in all that I do. I am passionate about helping many local charities and global outreach organizations. I am a visionary and a talented professional that thrives in partnering with dynamic organizations and people around the globe. I have been a Certified Meeting Professional since 2003, published author and blogger.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Heavens no! Going into business for yourself is always a risk that has many ups and downs. My advice to other business professionals would be:

1. Conduct a lot of research on the business you are starting and develop a plan.
2. Save enough money to pay your bills and any unforeseen expenses for six months to one year- You may find yourself having to bootstrap your own business. Unexpected expenses always seem to pop up along the way.
3. Build a tribe. Entrepreneurs and freelancers often wear a lot of hats, so finding that balance and community is key. Having a strong support system around you is essential. Also, finding a mentor early-on is extremely helpful.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about LPBC Services – what should we know?
As the Founder of LPBC Services, I help organizations shape and share their brand. Many of our clients find that they want additional exposure for their business and need key strategies to help grow and promote their brand. Our team provides value and targeted solutions to help fill the gap that you may have in your business.

I believe people and relationships come first- Then business and financial freedom will follow!
