Meet Trailblazer Kelly Miller

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Miller.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
For the last 20 years, I have lived in Arizona and I have fallen in love with the desert. During this time, I started a blog to share with others all of the fun that there is to do in and out of the desert. My lifestyle blog encompasses travel, food and much more!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like many other bloggers, I have a full-time career outside of my blog. Having a blog is a creative outlet that I thoroughly enjoy. At first, it was a little difficult putting myself out there for the world to see and hear, but little by little that has become easier. Building relationships with other bloggers has helped me build confidence in the blogging industry.

My biggest piece of advice is managing your time and making sure you have time for yourself and for your goals.

We’d love to hear more about Life in the Desert.
I am a lifestyle blogger and brand that focuses on travel, food, and adventure in the desert! This also includes adventures outside of the desert, too. I am known for capturing desert images and real life. I would say my interpretation of desert beauty and adventure sets me apart from others.

So much of the media coverage is focused on the challenges facing women today, but what about the opportunities? Do you feel there are any opportunities that women are particularly well positioned for?
In today’s world, there are a tremendous amount of opportunities for women. We often hear the opposite, but I beg to differ. Women are entrepreneurs, they are motivated and won’t stop until they meet their target. It’s the best time to be a woman. We are empowered and want success for one another.
