Meet Trailblazer Cody Lynn Hubbell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cody Lynn Hubbell.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Cody Lynn. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have been a professional makeup artist for the last 4+ years. I have always had a creative side and a passion for art. I began beautifying all of my family and friends as a teenager and my love of doing makeup grew from there. Last year, I learned of this new technique called microblading and was immediately intrigued. I wanted to give my clients beautifully shaped brows that would last. I did my research and found a reputable and highly recommended course. After completing my training at Sassy Wink Academy in Mesa, I opened my studio in Chandler in March of 2017 and quickly began building a clientele base. I do 30+ hours a week of brows alone and I absolutely love seeing the transformations and providing clients with a new found confidence!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I believe that with a passion for your craft, a lot of hard work, and determination, you will have success. Starting a new business can be daunting, especially in the over-saturated beauty industry, but keep pushing forward, using constructive criticism and practice to perfect your art. Also, handling every situation with professionalism is key.

We’d love to hear more about Makeup & 3D Brows by Cody Lynn.
My makeup specialty is classic bridal glam and glamorous before and after transformations.

My microblading style is clean, defined, and natural.

I have built my business from scratch through years of hard work and self-promotion.

I love that I can give women a new found confidence with new brows or a beautiful face enhanced by makeup. I take pride in the way I run my businesses and my client relationships.

Do you feel like there was something about the experiences you had growing up that played an outsized role in setting you up for success later in life?
My parents instilled the values of hard work and determination in me from a young age. I was taught that if you want something, you need to go out there and make it happen. The secret to success is work.
