Today we’d like to introduce you to Smriti Rajkarnikar.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a child, I was always fascinated by Angels and Fairies. One evening I was in conversation with a Friend about dealing with the Stress and problems happens in our life or we manifest in our life. She was counseling me on how we can let us not be affected by these problems and she introduce me to the Angel Card and did a mini reading for me. I was so surprised that the guidance came through the card was the exact things we were talking the whole evening. That moment was so magical that I could feel the presence of the Angles. That evening changed my life and the whole perspective to look at the life changed. I started practicing Angel card reading first with myself and then with friends.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, It was never a smooth road. At first, when I was doing a reading for my friends, I used to doubt myself that maybe I can say whatever I am saying is because I know them so well. Also in my country Nepal, most of the people are not very familiar with the Angel card reading so some people used to think that I am talking to dead people and some people used to be scared of reading because what if something negative is going to have happened in their life but all I do is just the positive reading.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I don’t really consider it as my business because all I am doing is helping people to receive their guidance, helping them to accept as who they are. Every person I meet is a learning experience for me, so I am learning more every day. I am most proud when the people could actually pour their heart out to me and evolve themselves by following the guidance that I help them to receive. I am not apart from any other, we all are unique in our own ways.
What were you like growing up?
I was very sensitive as a child and still now. I used to get hurt and cry on even a small thing that my parents used to get annoyed with this behavior (LOL) and I also used to hate myself for being so sensitive. I used to draw, dance and write a lot, I used to imagine that if someday I got the magic wand, I could solve all the problems of other people and get more chocolates for me. :). I used to sit on my terrace at night and watch the sky filled with stars wondering how big is this universe.
