Meet Sabina Krasnov of I2ioptique in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabina Krasnov.

Sabina, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have been an optician since 1993. In the years of my experience I worked at 2 places. One a box store and the other a private practice for a doctor who really appreciated my talent as he stated this was all in NYC, I moved to AZ 5 years ago and realized that it’s time to open my own Optical, I went to many interviews but not one job in the valley was a perfect fit for me. Making a difference of how people look and feel is what I love doing. Many patients call me the eyeglass whisper and I love hearing that. I take pride in ever pair of glasses I fit. And being there from start to finish and the patients always know they can count on me for anything they need for their eyes!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Having my own Optical is like riding a roller coaster. The ups are high and the lows are really low. Learning to keep a balance mentally is the hardest thing. Keeping the doors open and staying afloat on the bills is very difficult. The patients that buy our glasses and love them and see the difference keep me going and assure me I am needed and I2ioptique is there home for all there’s eyewear needs.

I2ioptique – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I2ioptique I fit perfect eyewear, our patients come in and get fitted and we tell them what is best for their face, prescription and explain all the benefits that will make there glasses comfortable and enjoyable. Educating is my most favorite things to do so patients know what they really need and understand what their eyes are all about. I love educating all my patients and explaining. I want our patients to feel confident in the choice they make and enjoy their new eyewear. I am there for our patients and customer service is our number one priority.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is making people happy with their purchase and knowing I made a difference in their life by assisting them with their new eyewear. Making them look and feel confident and allowing them to enjoy their eyewear and they tell their family and friends about i2i. Seeing them in a local store and they tell me how much they love their eyewear from I2ioptique!
