I started playing bass around 15yrs old. My brothers and I bought some guitars and drums, and that’s where it all began. I went on to play professionally. I spent 20 years playing the east coast from Maine to Florida. Relocated to Arizona playing the west coast and Europe.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Well, there are always setbacks in life in general. That along with being a self-employed musician can cause a lot of struggle… Traveling and relocating, etc. You have to think big never get stuck in a local scene. One day at a time, stay focused.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I am a freelance bassist. I have been performing since I was a teenager. All those years playing with all those bands in all genres has enabled me to work consistently for decades. I play all styles of music and composer.

How do you define success?
Success is in the heart, not the bank.
