Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachael Cerreta.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Rachael. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I used to be an Elementary school teacher. When I had my first daughter, I wanted to do something on the side and thought that making children’s tees would be a fun side job. I stopped teaching when I was pregnant with my second daughter and decided to go all in with my business. I added women’s and men’s clothing and it really started to take off. I love being a mom while still having time to complete and fulfill orders. I’m always working on new ideas and I love doing custom orders!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I definitely have slow months and its sometimes difficult being online only because there is so much competition online. That’s why I decided to offer free shipping to all of my customers. I’m always very appreciative when my customers share or tag pictures online with my business name.
Posh Society Boutique – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a one woman show. I design, create, and ship! I also run my website, and all social media accounts. I have my own line, but I’m always doing custom orders also. I definitely take pride in doing it all myself, but one day, maybe I’ll be able to expand!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment was when a stranger I met said that she followed my business online and that she loved my line. My girls are my motivation and they always make me a proud momma. They are always inspiring me!
