Meet Myesha Barbieto of Emergency IV Mobile Hydration Unit in East and West Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Myesha Barbieto.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I relocated to Arizona in 2011 after my husband passed away in an accident. My husband was a Honolulu Rescue Firefighter for 22yrs. My daughter and I relocated to Arizona to escape the memories. I started my business 4 yrs. ago. I created my own logo, business name, business model.

My business is the first of its kind. Everything I created was all by myself. I am the sole owner.
I trademarked, trade branded my business. I researched the cost of an ER visit and made my business model affordable for anyone to be able to use. The co pay for most insurances is more than the cost of our packages.

Being able to keep our prices affordable was very important to me. Various types of patients and reasons and the need for IV therapy include:
Hangovers
Dehydration
Acute and long term illnesses such as:
Flu, colds, food poisoning, cancer patients, pregnancy
Business travelers
Athletes
Entertainers /Performers

My business has thrived because we’re respected in our community. Our referrals from Doctors, RNs and our patients is why we have remained the most successful mobile IV business. Being the first business like this has only made our reputation in our community as legitimate, professional health care providers. We are still growing more and more every year.

Anyone else after us is either a franchise or a copycat of my business model. We have established ourselves here by being caring and professional. I’m a widow, single parent, bi racial female. The greatest compliment in the success of this business is having been hired by other Doctors to do business consulting on my business model. This business was started so that you wouldn’t need to get out of bed to go to the Drs.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Very smooth road from the start! This business was accepted by everyone and that couldn’t make me anymore happier! Only struggle is finding expert IV RNs!

I am most proud of creating this business and being able to offer affordable health care to everyone. I am known for being the Vein Whisperer and the IV Queen!

Our level of professionalism is what sets us apart. Not only do we have a special skill set that allows us to give our patients a virtually painless experience and only one stick!!!!!

We also have a knowledge base that sets us apart from others. We do patient education on how to maintain hydration levels during their daily lifestyles. We care that much about our patients’ health that we go that extra mile. My RNs love what they do and take great pride in their position with Emergency IV.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Being able to help teach students in my parent’s martial arts studios. I don’t just have one memory! I have many.
