Meet Karin Johnson of Warrior Goddess Sisterhood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karin Johnson.

Karin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I believe this is my calling. I just had to learn how to take my own “medicine” & “advise” and learn how to be present with myself in order to create a safe “container” for women & “others” to heal. My focus is women. I have been a “rescuer & fixer” all my life… recognized I had to Rescue and Fix Karin first and keep my cup full. So I went on a journey to Self-Love. Self-Honor, Self-Worth, Self-Respect… I exposed myself to books and events, like a week-long seminar with Jack Canfield (2 times) and participate in his advanced training.

Recently got certified as a facilitator with author HeatherAsh Amara as a facilitator of her material and I am currently in a year-long program with Christine Arylo, School of Self Love. It has been an amazing journey. Christ has been in the center of it all.
Today I am holding a sacred space for women to begin to find their authentic self. To find a safe place to heal. To create a sisterhood because when women unite, SHIFT happens. I am also a part of the Global Sisterhood and a member of Soulful Sisterhood which provide me with more tools to share with women.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, certainly not. The struggles that showed up helped me to dig deeper; to find ways to overcome them so they no longer robbed me of my energy and therefore I became better equipped to guide women thru similar obstacles.

Life. Life presents obstacles that we need to determine if they are a “worthy obstacle”… a lesson that has presented itself for our own personal growth. OR determine if they are NOT a “worthy obstacle” and decide to not let it rob us of our power. Learning how to not let my struggle become my identity.

Relationships. Being married for 30 years and not having any control as to the future of its survival… is a struggle hard to describe in words. I have had to look inside, deep inside and learn how to forgive, and love myself thru this HUGE obstacle. And a worthy one it is.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We are a group of women who are dedicated to coming together in community to support and rebirth ourselves from the inside out. Together, through meditation, assessments, experiential exercises, tools & techniques, we will learn how to become Empowered Women who live authentically, speak our Truth, and truly begin loving & honoring ourselves.

Each of us has a fire within, a sacred self, and everything we do either nourishes or diminishes our inner spark. When we get stuck in our stories, our worries, trying to figure things out, we lose sight of who we really are, and what we are here to do.

What sets me apart from others is the women who show up. Our sacred sisterhood. Our compassion for each other. Our pledge to honor all women. Our willingness to seek to be pure in our intentions, transforming any manipulative tendencies or hidden agendas into deep self-trust and cultivating a connection with our soul’s desire for each of us to thrive.

What were you like growing up?
Authenticity. Vulnerability. Compassion. Self-love. I am part of a growing movement of self-love. I have been on a journey of self-discovery since I was as young as 3 years of age. I was driven to unearth what triggered me to behave and respond to situations the way I did.

My calling to help women find their authentic self and equip them with tools to become their best version is a gift I desire to share with all who desire to learn.
