Meet Julie Jones of The Adventures of Julie Jones, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Jones.

Julie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Like everyone’s story, mine is filled with ups and downs. It’s an interesting journey from Police Officer to award winning speaker and coach. As I reflect on the journey, there is one constant in my life. I was born to help and serve people. From an early age, I began to volunteer with my parents to give back. I know I went into Law Enforcement wanting to make a difference. That was a difficult road because there is a lot of negativity that I faced day in and out. Many of my careers after law enforcement have centered around helping people. I have been a property manager, a chiropractic assistant, a makeup artist, and an entrepreneur looking to make that impact. Throughout all of it, I have loved presenting, speaking, and supporting people to live their best life in this moment. My current platform of Get S#*t Done focuses on supporting busy individuals to be more productive without losing their sanity. I also inspire people to take risks and face the fear of what is stopping them. There is no promise of tomorrow. I saw it with my parents. My mom passed at the young age of 59 from early onset Alzheimer’s and my dad at 78 from Pancreatic Cancer. I live each day as if it was my last with no regrets. I encourage everyone I meet to say Yes to life opportunities!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have always said that life happens for you not to you. The road has been like a roller coaster. I was bullied in grade school and high school for numerous reasons. I experienced a date rape in college. I have experienced two divorces, and I am currently on my third marriage. Each divorce affected me as initially I saw it as a failure. At the young age of 51, I found myself as an “orphan” having lost both my parents. I have struggled to make ends meet, and I went into some serious credit card debt just to survive. These challenges are part of my story, yet they don’t define who I am. The obstacles have helped me to keep rising up despite falling down so many times.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Adventures of Julie Jones, LLC?
The difference between my business and most coaching business is quite honestly me. That is not meant to be egotistical. I have a unique perspective on life. I don’t just think “outside the box”, I “blow up the box”. I can hear what people are not saying out loud, when they are lying to themselves. As a former police officer, I can “read” people. I also love to have fun! My coaching style will produce results yet make you laugh and shift your thinking. I am known as a “googly eyed aficionado” . My coaching platform is “Get Sh*t Done”! The world has become “woo busy” with distractions, and I support my clients in streamlining what they are doing. I am super excited that I am launching a book on November 17th, 2021 on Amazon. “Stop Waiting, Start Living” is a compilation book designed to inspire you to begin taking action on all those dreams you have set aside.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
When I reflect on who I was as a child, I see a young girl that had difficulties fitting in. I didn’t always have many friends. However, I had some really close ones that are still my friends to this day. I was a bookworm. I loved to read, and during the summer I would read 10 books a week. it was often my escape. I loved to play school during the summers. Sometimes I think I should have been a teacher, yet I know I am at this point in my life. I grew up in the Midwest, and spent a ton of time outdoors playing Red Light, Green Light, Tag, climbing trees, and just playing with the neighborhood kids. One of the things that I look back and realize, is that I never wanted anyone to be friendless. I made it a point to make sure everyone was included because so many times I was not. I still make sure I include all to this day.
