Jen, it’s been too long since we last connected. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with our community again. Some readers might have missed our prior conversations, so maybe you can kick things off for us with a quick intro?
I’m a mosaic artist and instructor. I love art of all kinds and believe everyone should have at least one authentic art piece in their home. I create DIY mosaic kits for adults, kids, families, friends, colleagues, and students! These mosaic kits are very easy-to-follow art lessons in a box! I ship anywhere in the USA! I also teach people how to create their own mosaic art.

What are you working on now?
I’m working on creating about 5-10 more DIY mosaic art kits for people to enjoy wherever they are and for people to send to their friends, family, and co-workers as gifts! I just finished a recent Johnny Cash mosaic piece and am currently working on a Chris Cornell art piece. I’m also working on creating online mosaic lessons.

Are you providing mosaic workshops?
I am gearing up to provide in-person and virtual mosaic art workshops. I am also currently recording more How-To videos on my Jen Jame Mosaics YouTube channel! I have something very big that I’m working on that will help more people learn mosaic art on a massive scale.

Where do you see your art business in one year?
I see more DIY mosaic art kits and more in-person and online workshops. I see Jen Jamē Art Studio launching in Phoenix and I see myself teaching young adults the mosaic art fundamentals to help build confidence, interpersonal connections, and additional skill-sets. I aim to bring mosaic art into more people’s lives!

Do you identify yourself as an artist, teacher, or business owner?
That’s a good question. I identify as all three…but, teacher first, artist second, and business owner third. I was a public school junior high and high school English teacher for over 12 years and have worked with at-risk youth. I’ve also been a teacher to teachers! Teaching and mentoring is who I am through and through. Therefore, owning a business where I can tap into my love for art and love for teaching is a match made in heaven.

Alright, so before we go, how can our readers connect with you to learn more and show support?
