Meet Glen and Daniel Floreancig of Phoenix Phase Converters in North Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Glen and Daniel Floreancig.

Glen and Daniel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Me (Glen Floreancig) and my brother Daniel Floreancig started working for our dad (Aldo Floreancig) Rockford, Il., we have worked with very knowledgeable employee’s including my dad, thinking one day we will take over the business, for one reason or another things always work out better then sometimes you have planned, we were unable to get my dad to sell the business to us, instead one of the employees bought the business under contract as we already started our own electric motor repairing shop in Phoenix, AZ, we became fairly successful fast, we also ventured in the phase converter business (Phase converter – turns single phase power into to three phase power, so you can run industrial equipment in residential power supply) which grew so rapidly that we shut down the electric motor repair service to focus on manufacturing and distributing phase converters, we continued and strived to make the best phase converter on the market today. Now we are one of the top leading phase converter company, Glen Floreancig has developed and patented (Patent # US9, 484,844 B1) a circuit board that will be on the market sometime in 2017. This circuit board is revolutionary to the industrial field of electric motors. The board will start an electric motor or phase converter motor at a low frequency and gradually increase the frequency up to or above the motor operating frequency. The results of this is to unlimited the inrush current, which will save on electric cost, dramatically increasing the life of the motor windings and mechanical instructor of the motor and equipment, will help end users for being charged a demand charge for keeping their amps low, help electric companies and users from the expense of upgrading service and transformer replacement or even new service being added. We hope to have every household and business from large equipment to even as small as AC units to their homes or businesses, across the state and the globe this will change the way we use electricity and build and service equipment forever.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Working so hard day and night with little pay trying to one day take over our father’s business, we have spent most of our younger life working, even went to an alternative high school where I only had to go for 3 hours a day just to take test so I can study on my own time, watching a football game or TV, or a normal social life didn’t exist, more by choice, it is how we were raised, the education came from experience employees and our father in this field.
