Meet Gina Mynatt-Galdi and Allana Taylor of Quench Naturel in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Mynatt-Galdi and Allana Taylor.

Two Mom’s who want to save the world, one body at a time…based in Scottsdale, AZ founded to create high-quality all natural body care products for everyone who has skin. Our company began by accident after Product Developer Gina read the ingredients and long-term side effects of chemically filled creams dermatologists had prescribed for her and her daughter’s Eczema and knew there had to be a better way to keep their sensitive skin healthy and hydrated. Through her research, our first product and one of our best sellers, Get Whipped Body Souffle was created. Then as chance would have it, through a random proposition, Allana, mom of four active boys and Brand Developer hopped on board and Quench Naturel was born! It’s been a year and a half and our product line has grown from two products to 15 including deodorant, tooth polish, day & night cream, herbal face masks, Vegan lip balms, and even an all natural color cheek and lip tints! Our products are free of harsh chemicals, utilizing limited preservatives that meet only the highest standards. Our mission is to “Demystify the Ingredient List”. We focus on transparency and giving the consumer the facts about the ingredients in their products. In addition, our products are designed to be affordable and healthy for all.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting a business is challenging, developing and formulating chemical free products introduce obstacles. For instance, our Q24 Day & Night cream went through 14 renditions before arriving at the perfect product. Finding the right preservative, without harsh chemicals that are effective and have “shelf life” are challenges and obstacles unto itself. Determining the right platform for marketing, how to spend money wisely and effectively can be a challenge. The past year and a half have been filled with ups, downs and considerable growth, Product & Brand Development, investment of time, resources and finances. Days are filled with research, production, learning, website design, and most of all passion. The road is curved, sometimes bumpy, but the overall journey is filled with joy and love for what we are able to produce, accomplish and deliver to our Quenchers.

Our biggest mission is to Demystify the Ingredient List. We want our clients to know what they are putting on their bodies and why. First of all, we vet all of our ingredients on EWG (Environmental Working Group) which is a watchdog organization that looks at the safety and toxicity of all types of products. Then we list all our ingredients in plain English so our labels are easy to understand. Finally, we publish all of ingredients’ and their attributes on our website so that our clients understand exactly what they are using on their bodies. Our second mission is to create high quality, truly natural products at an affordable price. We genuinely believe that chemicals are responsible for many of the illnesses that presently plague our communities. Removing these chemicals is truly a matter of Health & Wellness and your Health & Wellness should not be a luxury.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, Gina – Product Developer at Quench Naturel was curious, lover of everything in nature, especially beaches, mountains, jungles and always interested in foreign cultures, travel, cooking and creating things. Traveling at a young age gave her the opportunity to taste and use exotic ingredients which led to the creativity used in formulating some of our products we make at Quench Naturel.

Growing up, Allana – Brand Developer at Quench Naturel always had an entrepreneurial spirit a go-getter, who began finding ways to make money even before she was 10! She always looked for ways to brand her products to satisfy her client’s needs.
