Meet Ernesto Carrizoza

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ernesto Carrizoza.

Arizona-native Ernesto Carrizoza has seen quite a bit through the years. As a multilingual and multicultural marketing agency professional, he has taken skeptical small, medium and corporate business owners/executives on a path of profit through the digital world. One part marketer, one part educator, and one part researcher, Ernesto has provided an astute understanding of marketing trends — both traditional and digital — for hundreds of clients. Employing his tried-and-true methods, he created Movement Marketing in 2012 and has not looked back, carrying clients locally, nationally and internationally out of the red along the way.

His methods have caught the eye of Facebook, Inc. and has been accepted into their invite only Business Insights Panel (only a few thousand members sit on this panel out of tens of millions of advertisers worldwide) that helps their developers improve their advertising platforms, and Forbes Magazine, both of which have accepted his company into the highest echelons of their advisory councils since founding Movement and also published many articles and Q and A’s on But beyond the international accolades, it’s his clients who have benefitted the most, all of whom have displayed dramatic increases/improvement in branding, social media engagement and increased placement on search engine results.

But success is nothing new for Ernesto. Despite his humble nature, he’s still proud that he was named one of the state’s top 35 entrepreneurs aged under 35 in 2014 by The Arizona Republic. And shortly after, he was rewarded for his dedication to the Arizona community when he received the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for outstanding contribution to our community.

At heart, Ernesto treats Movement clients like family. Even in the direst situations, Movement has taken every client above and beyond their initial expectations. Ernesto applies these high expectations to his own family — especially his daughters Colette and Luciana — to make both the Arizona business and global community a robust representation of positives our region presents.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have been many ups and downs but I never look at the “downs” as a failure, they are learning opportunities that I like to sometimes call “expensive case studies.” We always persevere and are always eager to keep learning about all of the industries we represent to stay ahead of the curve.

We’d love to hear more about your business.

What were you like growing up?
My parents were serial entrepreneurs so naturally, I learned many tactics and experiences that helped shape my affinity and tacit knowledge for business, operations and sales. I was very active in my early childhood with sports and outdoor activities, but books have always had a special place in my heart and always took precedence for the majority of my spare time. I love learning and believe one never stops learning until the day they die. I collected coins, ancient coins, bank notes, rare artifacts and books. I was also very heavily vested in history and geography, it is important to know the history of our world and the cultures that inhabit it to have a better sense of where we are headed as a species and society. Since my father is an artist, I also spent a lot of time learning how to improve in many art mediums including painting, drawing and design. Last but not least, I love computers, my first desktop was a Dell 486 DX back in the early 90’s.
