Meet Sharon Krieger of El Panzon y Frida in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon Krieger.

Sharon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
With a completely new menu, concept and goals, El Panzon y Frida was put together with the dedication and continuous hard work by the owners, Luis Montaño and Veronica Fernandez, as well as Chef Paulina’s menu and food forward concept development. This culminated in the opening of a fully rejuvenated and rebranded restaurant concept: refined casual, food forward, fresh, local and fun. With seasonally rotating products nestled within urban design of polished concrete, rustic metal features, handcrafted wooden textures and old world brickwork.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The area has been very challenging, since we are surrounded by nightclubs.

Please tell us about El Panzon y Frida.
What sets us apart from other restaurants in the area is our devotion to high-quality, unique dishes. Even items that would ordinarily seem mundane have our Chef’s inspired twist on them. We utilize ingredients from many varied regions and cuisines to create a new culinary experience for our guests.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Installed more beer taps! We love local craft beer here at El Panzon y Frida, and in our opinion you can never have too much!
