Meet Dan Han of Tong Shin Acupuncture & Herbs Center in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dan Han.

Dan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Two years ago, I came to AZ from Chicago and worked in an Acupuncture clinic in Scottsdale. One year later, I start my own business in Tempe. Most of my patients are Chinese. One Chinese patient felt very good after my treatment, immediately helped me to create a WeChat group and bring one hundred Chinese people in the group, now expand to 300 people. Chinese people word by mouth quickly bring more patient to me. I graduated in Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (贵阳中医学院)and earned an MD in 1991, majoring in acupuncture. After graduated, work in Hui Shui County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for 10 years. Upon coming to the United States, I became a board-certified physician of NCCAOM Diploma of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. Have been in Acupuncture field for almost 20 years.

Has it been a smooth road?
Language is most Obstacles, sometimes how to express the meaning, how to say the words correctly to community with patient is very important. Some disease need time to treat, but patients hurry to see result in every treatment. It’s hard to let them believe as they pay out of packet.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I’m acupuncturist, I have my own clinic Mar 2016, I name my clinic “Tong Shin Acupuncture & Herbs Center”

You can read my details in my website

Everything starts from the heart! I wish my patients gets recover as quick as possible, I name my clinic as “Tong Shin” because it’s mean working together, same heart, understand each other, patient needs to work with doctor together against disease. I wish I can treat patient as quickly as possible, help them less pain, less suffering, enjoy life healthy and happy!

I treat pain very quickly, one patient had pain on neck & shoulder for 7-8 months, went to Drs, Physical Therapy doesn’t work, one friend recommend her to me, after one treatment, she feel much better. Have many other cases.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Scottsdale is very good place, people more educated but more competition here, a lot of Acupuncturists around here.
