Today we’d like to introduce you to Cher Lindsey.
Cher, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I had a relaxation center for 18 years and closed during the recession in 2009 to reinvent myself to do mobile pampering for those clients with special needs. My services include massage, manicures, and pedicures.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The journey was not always easy but I’m much happier now that I don’t have all that overhead and I am even more passionate about my work today by helping others. There is definitely a need for this type of work.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am happy that everyday is different and I’m able to help people whether they’re in a hospital recovering from brain surgery or in a rehab facility wearing a back brace I’m able to accommodate any and all clients. I always find a way to make a difference in their day.
What were you like growing up?
I’ve always had a strong work ethic at a very young age. I’ve love being self employed since 1992.
