Meet Caleb Hock of Glory Gains Gym in North Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb Hock.

Caleb, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Moved to Phoenix in 2012 right out of college at 21 years old. Started personal training and became very successful at it. Decided to get out of corporate training after one and a half years and go independent and created Glory Gains personal training. After working hard and building my brand for three years I saved up enough to start Glory Gains Gym. Throughout the whole process used faith and God to lead the way and keep me on track…

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a very smooth road. The biggest struggle was finding the right location and building space that had everything I would need to run a successful business.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Glory Gains Gym – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Glory Gains gym is a private personal trainer’s gym. It is 11,000 sq. ft. has all brand new equipment, flooring, and a 45 yard long turf field. We specialize in all kinds of training without vast amount of professional trainers. From bodybuilding, athletic training, youth training, physical therapy, stretching, to just wanting to get in better shape and live a healthier life, we cover it all at Glory Gains Gym. I’m most proud about the energy and vibe in our gym. We have 20+ trainers, and about 400 members, and everyone almost knows everyone and is friendly towards each other! Gyms can be very intimidating and I believe the atmosphere is huge to being successful. I am very proud to say that when I hear someone talking about Glory Gains Gym it is always about a positive experience. Glory Gains Gym is about giving all the Glory to God, and when we do that it makes us an unselfish gym that isn’t about self fulfillment, but about the betterment of the entire gym, its members, and the community!

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
This year we are making some really cool renovations to the building and adding even more brand new equipment! Another Glory Gains Gym location is always a possibility!
