Meet the Boyer Family of The Boyer Bakery

Today we’d like to introduce you to the Boyer Family.

Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
With a love for baking and a gift of hospitality, it didn’t take long for family & friends, co-workers, neighbors and even strangers, to experience the delicious handiwork of our head baker’s kitchen.

Bringing along her treats to potlucks, parties and meetings was just not enough for our sweet-toothed friends and she very soon was encouraged by many to offer her baked goods as a business, in which their favorite treats could be ordered seasonally, like our Thanksgiving pies or our Christmas cookie trays.

With great anticipation on this new business venture, our entire family began researching more information on operating a bakery from our home. We stumbled upon Arizona’s Home Baked & Confectionary Goods Program, which allows registrants under specific guidelines, to bake within our private home kitchens for commercial sale… WE WERE EXCITED!

We received the licensing for our new and now official bakery business on April 1st of 2016 … but we weren’t fooling around! As a family we were ready to take this leap of faith and before we knew it, orders were trickling in.

We have been beyond amazed at the response and the opportunities we have seen in such a short time.

We are quite eager to see what this next year holds as we plan to build the business together as a family…because after all, the sweetest memories are made in the kitchen!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The challenge we face right now, as a home-baker, is location. We’d love to offer both an amazing product along with an equally amazing atmosphere for our bakery friends to enjoy. In efforts to incorporate our love of baking and the desire to extend hospitality towards others, we would be absolutely thrilled to one day open a store front… a place to gather, displaying comfort and charm.

Please tell us about The Boyer Bakery.
We are a licensed, family-owned and operated, home-based bakery business, located in The West Valley.

We have such a broad menu but specialize in small-batch and always made from-scratch baked goods. Focusing first and foremost on quality and flavor, we incorporate simply beautiful techniques to create eye-appealing desserts.

    Boyers make some of the best desserts I’ve ever had. And they are also beautiful. They do a great job with gluten free pastries as well! My family loves them!

    The Boyers are an amazing family, and their desserts are THE BEST! Yummmm. Just talking about it is making my mouth water!
