Meet Bathsheba Adams of Eyes Like Mine in Waddell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bathsheba Adams.

Bathsheba Nichole Adams is a multi-talented individual passionate about inspiring people from all elements of life through sharing her own experiences. Entering foster care at the age of five and being raised as an adopted child she discovered her purpose through operating in her passion to help people. She employs her talents to deliver her message of keeping God first, forgiveness, and success.

Ultimately, her goal is to continuously collaborate on projects with those who share the drive to help people while crossing all boundaries with no exception to age, class, religion, gender, sexual orientation, education, and culture.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was not an easy road as I had to overcome physical, emotional, and sexual abuse during my journey in foster and adoptive care. I was separated from my biological mother at age three because she would try to kill my siblings and me. She was very abusive and had a mental illness. Once I was placed in foster care, I suffered multiple types of abuse from foster siblings and an adopted mother.

Eyes Like Mine – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We don’t have any limitations on what we will do for these kids. Where there is a need we find a way to fulfill that need.

Multifaceted artist Bathsheba, whose passion for helping others is inspired by personal experiences and struggles of her life in the Foster Care system which has produced a life of strength, courage, determination, and passion.

Bathsheba is not only a singer, model and performer, she’s also an author, DJ and the proud president of Eyes Like Mine Foundation, a non-for profit organization dedicated to the betterment of foster and adoptive youth by assisting with everyday essentials such as clothes, shoes, toiletries, toys, counseling, mentoring programs, grants for school, motivational speaking, transportation, relationship building, and life skill workshops etc.. (

So, what should we be on the lookout for, what’s next in store for you?
Eyes Like Mine has plans to open churches, housing facilities, recreational centers, schools and warehouses that will benefit foster and adopted children and the families that care for them. We plan on being able to send teens that are aging out of the foster system to college, and we are currently working on sending six girls to college on a four-year scholarship.

So far we have raised 7k in scholarship funds, and with your help by this May, we plan to have enough to make sure these girls have a chance at success. We also plan on sponsoring more and more children for Christmas each year as we were able to supply toys for 50 kids this year.

We are also planning for this year’s Annual Live To Give Gala in which we supply foster and underprivileged children with Christmas Toys and a few foster or underprivileged High school seniors with scholarship funds toward college. We also provide our guests that attend the gala with a wonderful night of entertainment, silent auction, performers, door prizes, red carpet interviews, and more!
