Meet Andrea King of Flowganize in Valleywide Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea King.

Andrea, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Growing up in a family business gave me a work ethic and level of caring which set me on a path to be promoted everywhere I worked. I spent about 15 years in customer service before having my children and then started working for myself as a creative designer, photographer and coach. As an artist, I have a balanced approach that includes linear structured thinking as well as creative flow. I enjoy painting, DIY projects, and digital design.

I learned about Feng Shui as a way to empower spaces, and help people create the life they want. While I have seen the results and benefits of Feng Shui, I find that getting deeper into the “why” of the clutter or stuck energy makes a bigger impact on my clients. I notice quickly how people experience a space, and can see how to make it better. I work with light, color, and energy flow to create spaces that not only feel good, but also have intentions set to bring better relationships, improve financial abundance, or overall wellbeing,

When I realized this was a pretty cool gift, I created Flowganize, which is all about flow and organization. It’s creating structure while still allowing flexibility and freedom.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I figure anyone who has a “smooth road” might be missing out! I’m a “what’s this do?” type who pushes the button and sees what happens. I’ve certainly had my share of trial and error learning, but because I learn best by doing, it has worked so far.

I’d say the roughest part of my road was becoming truly who I am as a person, artist, mother, and human being. To let go of caring what people think, and step into the world with my gifts has been an incredible journey.

I have come to this point with gratitude for everything that has been in my way, held me back, or kicked my butt, knowing it was all… Me. I hope my experiences can be observed by my kids instead of experienced, but hey, we all have our path right?

Please tell us about your business.
Flowganize was created from a need I saw for freedom and flow. Decluttering is part of the equation, but there is deeper work to do, and habits to change. It’s an awareness of “why” you clutter and block energy in your life. There are two processes I use which ask a person to become aware of what’s going on, make agreements with themselves, and then create a tangible plan to move forward. They can feel the wheels begin to turn as they do it! I find that people enjoy the process, and have many a-ha! moments along the way.

I use Feng Shui, but not in a traditional sense. I definitely feel the power of the collective agreement of thousands of years which indicates where to put things or what colors and elements to use. At the same time, I am highly intuitive, so flexing the process to what the individual needs always outweigh following the “rules”.

My clients have been supported in:
Looking for a new home, and moving into it. Adding murals and unique painting or art. Redecorating their homes or offices. Decluttering and reorganizing. Discovering their true life path. Creating a brand presence with social media/branding. Letting go and getting out of their own way with coaching. The best thing about this work is seeing my clients find their power and reach new levels of success, find amazing relationships, receive unexpected contracts or increase financial flow.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I remember the vacations we took. Disney, Beaches, Entertainment Parks… I grew up outside of Chicago, and we would almost always vacation somewhere with palm trees. So palm trees symbolized vacation, fun, and relaxing time for me. Also Girl Scouts, especially horseback riding camp… My family didn’t camp, and I loved being in nature as much as possible and wanted a horse for my entire childhood.

I have lived in the Phoenix area since 2000 and enjoy spending time outside and seeing palm trees every day. My dream came true, and I enjoy spending time with my two horses. I am blessed to have a life where not only can I feel like I’m on vacation and relaxing, I can help other people do it too!
