Meet Amber Miller of Smart to Finish (aka The Delegation Divas)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Miller.

Amber, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was working as a technology and marketing manager for a local CPA firm – and while I loved what I did, I had a strong calling to start my own company. I came across a thing called “virtual assisting” and at the time, 2004, it was not well known. Realizing I could do this and encompass my love for technology, marketing and being of support to others – my vision become a reality a year later. Smart to Finish became real.

Through the years my clientele grew by word of mouth and I jokingly had a client tell me, “the virtual assistant needs a virtual assistant”! Light bulb went off! I did! I hired my first assistant in 2008 to help me with my clients. It was the best thing I could do. I had found a way to “clone” myself. As I continued to grow, I continued to seek out and find other work from home moms who shared the same work values and passion that I did. And I hired them.

We currently have a full-time staff of 9 team members throughout Arizona, Ohio, Kansas, Florida and New York and we support over 50 clients!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Is it ever. 🙂 My biggest struggle is hiring. I’m very selective. My clients expect the best and that is what we hire. Those who have a strong work ethic and have a passion for what they do.

We are full-service marketing and support team. We help with Infusionsoft, marketing, the day-to-day business management and operations, product launch and technical virtual assistance.

We are highly-trained automation experts and we love working with our clients on an on-going basis! We work those on a daily/weekly basis to help them run their online and e-commerce companies

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Hired my team much sooner! I was a one-woman show for too long.
