Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Mogilner.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my path at Esalen a growth Center in Big Sur California where I studied massage and then brought Esalen Institute to San Francisco State and then started to study Gestalt and Reichian Therapy. I then left the country and studied acupuncture in England. My voyage has been one of integrating emotional and physical work to work with the whole person which I now include in my practice. I work with the cause and not just the symptoms. My journey has taken me to Dharmasala, India where I studied with the Dali Lama’s physician Dr. Dolma and integrating Chinese medicine into my life. I still study and take classes and integrate chakra balancing, as well as facial rejuvenation
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My first advice would be: never give up and follow your heart and your dream. I have traveled and lived in Europe for 10 years and have always followed my heart and never let age hold me back. I have had financial obstacles and never let anything stop me. I have no regrets for I am living my dream and ask you to do the same. Struggles included, being discouraged at times and some depression, and I have followed my heart, did therapy and asked for help when I needed it.
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
My father encouraged me and told me I could do anything and be anything I wanted to be and this was my guidepost. My family encouraged me to live my dreams. My success has been never taking no for n answer and forging ahead.
