Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Hallberg.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My business plan and inspiration for creating this biz have allowed me to strategically align my passion for nutrition and health to help others.

“Spreading Nutritional Wealth” allows me to share, motivate and coach those ready to elevate their health to the next level.

I encourage and support people to develop a lifetime of healthy lifestyle practices, mindfulness, and well-being that complements their individual lifestyle.

One of my biggest motivators in helping others reach their full health potential, is seeing the powerful changes nutrition has played in my life, knowing I can share this with others is motivating and exciting. A healthy lifestyle is especially important when life challenges us. As we know, life is going to throw us challenges along the way, and when it does you want to be ready feeling your best and healthiest version of you.

I worked for a non-profit health center for about eight years as a dietitian. Although I was enjoying my work, I needed to make a shift, that shift led me to the world of entrepreneurship! I set out to start a nutrition coaching private practice having no idea what I was doing or what it would turn into. We took a risk and started dreaming and planning. Move forward about 2 years, I am continuously learning and taking risks but I feel more confident and focused than I once felt. I am grateful for all the people that have supported me and opened my eyes to many lessons along the way.

I do not believe that health and nutrition will fix everything. I do believe, however, that a healthy mind and healthy body are essential to living the best life possible. A mindful lifestyle will also help in appreciating the good, given various life challenges. Presently, I’m feeling focused and free to strive to live a healthy life filled with gratitude. Life is meant to be a journey and for me, to expect the unexpected is part of the journey.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road. It is easy to see get off track or overwhelmed with all the moving parts. I find many people on social media make it look so easy but I know it’s not easy!

My advice for other young women starting their journey would be to stay the course, meaning complete one task, idea, project a time. When you first start out, you will have lots of ideas and people offering suggestions, my best advice would be to finish one thing before moving on to the next. Second, just go for it and it does not have to be perfect, you do not need a big fancy website to be successful, starting small is OK. I waited too long to launch and overthought many minor decisions that held me back. Third, use social media as inspiration, not as a comparison, be true to yourself and what you are offering.

Please tell us about Pantry Talk. 
I motivate and inspire people looking to make positive healthy lifestyle changes. I empower them to eat well without the diet through feel-good food, education, and mindful eating practices. I create recipes filled with FEEL GOOD FOOD. I specialize in sports nutrition, gut health, mindful eating, and meal planning to help with anxiety and depression.

I am most proud of my ability as a nutrition professional to connect with people on a very personal level to help them live a healthier life feeling their best.

What sets me apart is the personalized mindful practice I teach with nutrition. There is no one size fits all, there is no “perfect diet” and everyone has different needs. My goal is to motivate people to let go of the rules and have confidence in their nutrition and their body.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve benefited from using?
The things that help me in my best life are not necessarily in an app but physical movement, yoga, resistance training and cardio help me balance other areas of my life and my business.

I also utilize platforms to ensure everything in my business is kept confidential and organized and utilize a meal planning resource that allows me to create personalized meal plans.
