Inspiring Conversations with Tiffany Wimbish of Her Essence Revived: Hormone Hair & Wellness Essentials

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Wimbish.

Hi Tiffany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

My name is Tiffany Wimbish. I was diagnosed with Uterine Fibroids in 2018. When I was diagnosed, I was unable to find local resources. After much research, I came to the conclusion that Uterine Fibroids are not mentioned as commonly in the Western States. Knowing this motivated me to create a platform that includes fibroid education as well as tools and resources for women suffering from Uterine Fibroids.

I noticed when I focused on my overall health my medical condition was able to stay at bay. My fibroids do not cause pain or even flare-up. Over the years, I have been able to make changes to my diet and lifestyle to help combat my fibroid symptoms. By the time I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids my symptoms had already taken over my life. I suffered from dry brittle hair, anxiety attacks, extreme fatigue, mood swings, painful cycles, and cystic acne.

Since our hair is our crown, I decided to do something ASAP. I switched my pillowcases and head scarfs to satin. Instantly I begin to notice a change in both my skin and hair. My hair felt soft, and retained shine and my acne began to clear up soon after switching to satin. I wanted to share this hidden Gem with women and anyone dealing with hormonal imbalances. I have also found local free and discounted services to share.

Additionally, I was also able to find extreme comfort in journaling. During my journey, I found myself depressed, lacking confidence and purpose. I felt my body was unworthy and distasteful. I felt broken. Over time, writing in my journal helped me put my feelings on paper. I was able to perform daily affirmations which helped tremendously as well.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?

Some obstacles and challenges I’ve faced in starting my business was funding. In 2020, I started selling Tasty Treats to help raise money to build my online platform for uterine disease education. You can often find me at local vendor events with my famous banana pudding as well as many other treats raising money for Uterine Disease Awareness.

Another obstacle to mention is, I found myself fearful of what people would think of me. I was able to overcome the embarrassment by remembering I am sharing MY experience with others. Knowing that advocating for women with the uterine disease and providing uterine education will serve millions made the embarrassment go away.

Now, I continue to focus on my business intention which matters to me the most.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

Well, I’m glad you asked, Her Essence Revived: Hormone Hair & Wellness Essentials is a platform created to educate, motivate and provide essentials for women suffering from Uterine Disease. My business is Uterine Fibroid focused but also touches on related topics such as Hormonal imbalance, Endometriosis, postpartum, pre/post-menopausal, and PCOS.

When I was diagnosed, I was unable to find resources that assure me that my business is needed. My business shares my personal experience as well as uterine health-related facts. I would like to let women know surgery isn’t the only option when dealing with Uterine Fibroids and symptoms can be treated as well.

Her Essence Revived stands out from any other fibroid business because most fibroid businesses focus on surgical options. My business focuses on root causes like, hormonal imbalances, coping with fibroids, body awareness, and overall health. My business digs deep into personal habits and wellness to make sure the big picture is being addressed.

One major focus is on women with hormone issues that have noticed changes in their hair. I sew satin pillowcases. The benefits of satin are, that it reduces frizz and breakage, helps retain moisture in the hair, and length retention, and can also be beneficial to the skin. Since our hair is our crown, I want to be sure we are protecting our hair during our journey as well. I know when I was able to protect my hair my confidence level was boosted. I knew I had something internally going on but my hair didn’t have to suffer.

My business also uses journaling and affirmations as a stress-coping mechanism to combat hormonal issues. My goal is to inform women about the importance of uterine health as well as advocate for women who have Uterine Fibroids.
