Inspiring Conversations with Nicole Baker

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Baker.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I like to say I was born to be a Realtor! My mom/mentor owned her own successful brokerage, which showed me what a Realtor really does for families and what a successful real estate career can look like. Today I am lucky enough to be part The Garcia Group, a top Zillow premier team, and a top Arizona team! This business is stressful and the stakes are high but I am beyond blessed to be able to help many families every year.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Running a business is hard and I learn something new every day! Time management and ability to keep a routine is something I had to overcome.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in helping families grow wealth through real estate! You don’t have to be a flipper or an “investor” to invest in real estate. The average household can also invest and I show them how. I also specialize in second homes! Many people flock down from the colder climates to enjoy the Arizona winters. As an AZ native, I help guide you to the home that best fits your needs!

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I always wanted to be around the older kids or adults. Couldn’t wait to grow up! I wanted to drive a car, work, have my own house. (Little did I know I would have to pay bill and be responsible for so much!) I never enjoyed school because I felt like it wasn’t preparing me for my field of work. I was ready to turn 18 so I could get my real estate license! I always knew I wanted to be a Realtor. Looking at homes all day is like a dream come true! And look at me now!
