Inspiring Conversations with Clarita Escalante

Today we’d like to introduce you to Clarita Escalante.

Hi Clarita, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was diagnosed with cancer three years ago and after sitting in a victim mode for almost a year, I decided to do something about it and that’s when my Journey to Health began. I was determined to never hear the word “cancer” again, so I decided to go back to school and fully understand Nutrition and our body functionally. I studied for my own knowledge but after several friends and family reached for guidance around Nutrition, that’s when the idea came to start my business and educate others in Nutrition as well. My approach to Health and Wellness is a little bit different than other Nutritionists or Health Coaches. I focus on Mind, Body and Soul (Holistically). We can be eating all the healthy food and do all the exercising but if we are not in peace with ourselves, we are not healthy either. I work on building habits around their new goal(s), we go deeper on the why they want to change, establish a Journal or Meditation/Mindfulness routine, build a movement plan and help them create a balanced meal.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I never appreciated Health as much as I do now. Without Health, we really can’t do anything. Throughout my journey to Health, I have encountered so many challenges, but I always go back to MY WHY, why is that I’m doing this. My Why, is that I never want to hear the word “cancer’ again, so when I have challenges or obstacles I remember why I’m on this journey. Every 3-6 months, I go back for a check-in and all my emotions come flooded and then I remember that I have learned so much throughout this process and that I’m in a better position than I was three years ago.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a Certified Holistic Health Coach. I’m currently offering one-on-one Coaching and educate my Community through my Podcast – The Clarita Escalante Show Podcast in English and Spanish.

I help Women build simple and actionable habits to reach their health goals through my one-on-one coaching and my four Pillars to Health. The 4 Pillars Health is a four months program that focus on Mindset, Soul, Nutrition and Movement.

Coming 2022 is a Retreat for three days in Sedona that will be focus around The 4 Pillars of Health Program and my 1st Journal & Planner.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Going to the Zoo with my family.
